HOW DO I SWITCH BETWEEN CELSIUS AND FAHRENHEIT READINGS?
Press and hold the ‘SET’ button for 3 seconds, to change between the two settings.
CAN I CHECK THE TEMPERATURE OF MY BABY’S BOTTLE/FOOD?
Yes, the prime thermometer has a food setting you can access by pressing both the head and ear button together. Once the word “Food” displays on the screen point the thermometer 1 – 2 inches away from the bottle/food and press the ear button to get a temperature reading.
CAN THIS THERMOMETER BE USED BY ADULTS/ WHAT AGES IS THIS THERMOMETER GOOD FOR?

HOW DO I SET THE TIME ON THIS THERMOMETER?
Turn thermometer on and Press and hold the “SET” button for 2 seconds to enter the setting Mode. You will be asked to choose a 12hr or 24hr clock, Use the “MEM” button to change your selection and “SET” to save your selection. You then be asked to set the hour and minutes, followed by the year and month and day.
HOW DO I CHECK PREVIOUSLY RECORDED TEMPERATURES?
Turn thermometer on and Press “MEM” to view the previous measurement take. The symbols for ear, forehead and food will appear with each measurement stored.

HOW SHOULD I STORE THE THERMOMETER WHEN IM NOT USING IT?
It is best to store the thermometer is a temperature-controlled room where it won’t be exposed to dramatic temperature changes. Frequent changes in temperature can cause your thermometer to de-calibrate and give inaccurate readings.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD MY THERMOMETER BE CLEANED?
Your thermometer should be clean in between each use. Any buildup of dirt can cause inaccurate readings.
WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO CLEAN MY THERMOMETER?
Each probe, the forehead and ear, should be cleaned individually with an alcoholic swab or wipe. Do not use water directly on thermometer.
HOW MANY TEMPERATURE READINGS CAN BE STORED ON THIS THERMOMETER?

HOW DO YOU CHANGE BETWEEN THE DIFFERENT TEMPERATURE READING MODES?
Press “HEAD” to take temperature by forehead. Press “EAR” to take temperature by ear. Press in the middle of both “HEAD” and “EAR” to be set to Food Mode.
WHAT IS RECOMMEND FOR THE BEST RESULTS?
For best results do not talk or move during the measurement reading. When taking a forehead reading make sure the forehead is clean and dry. When taking an ear reading make sure the ear canal is clean.
DOES THE DISPLAY SCREEN HAVE A BACKLIGHT TO READ IN THE DARK?
Yes, the LCD display has a blue backlight.
IS THERE A WAY TO RESET MY THERMOMETER?
Yes, sometimes thermometer can be de-calibrated and need to be reset. In order to reset your thermometer, remove the batteries and store the thermometer in a temperature-controlled room for at least 30 minutes before putting the batteries back in to complete the reset process.
